My name is Claudia Schneider, working with Skat – Swiss Resource Centre and Consultancies for Development. I am an Architect and Urban Development Planner, and interested how sustainable building encourages improved working conditions on building sites. Currently, I compile a handbook on Urban Reconstruction (in partnership with IFRC), as well as guidelines on sustainable reconstruction looking into environmental aspects (with UNEP).

For more than 30 years, Skat provides a whole range of services, such as strategy development, assessments, project implementation, trainings, and applied research. We are specialised in reconstruction, urban development, water supply and environmental sanitation, and knowledge management.
